Both the rustic Barn and Farmhouse date back to the 1820's and represent a unique, historic view of early American farm life.  Beautifully restored in 2017, the Barn and Farmhouse have been returned to their original rustic glory with modern amenities – each welcoming you with a warm, comfortable, modern experience while retaining their authentic rustic character and original hand-hewn timbers.

The rustic timber framed Barn can host events up to 230 guests, depending on seating arrangements. The expansive lawns provide an ideal location for hosting a ceremony, cocktail reception or just relaxing and taking in the views. Framed by tall pines, the Writer's Shed offers an additional space for hosting fun outdoor events.

You'll have the privacy, freedom and flexibility to create and host your perfect event.  The entire estate is yours to explore and enjoy.

Parking is available on-site for approximately ninety (90) vehicles.

OUR Rustic 1820'S BARN

A full historic restoration was undertaken in 2017 by a team of local artisans, highly skilled in the craft of timber framing and historic preservation.  The Barn features original, 200 year-old hand-hewn beams.

ATTRACTIONS

The Lakes Region is a four-season vacationland dominated by many large glacial lakes and the White Mountain National Forest.

Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in the area and one of the largest natural U.S., freshwater lakes outside the Great Lakes with nearly 290 miles of shoreline.  The White Mountain National Forest consists of 750,000 acres and is home to the Presidential Mountain Range and 48 major peaks over 4,000 ft.

Only slightly further afield, about an hour and one-half drive, are the exquisite Atlantic Ocean beach towns of Ogunquit and Kennebunk Maine.

The area is a treasure trove of attractions from hiking and boating and fishing to summer theater, arts & crafts, antique fairs and micro-breweries.

Accommodations are plentiful in the nearby towns of Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Meredith, Wolfeboro and Conway.  The area has an extensive network of B&B’s, hotels and private rentals.
