Facilities at Whiteface Hollow
Your own private place

Both the rustic Barn and Farmhouse date back to the 1820's and represent a unique, historic view of early American farm life. Beautifully restored in 2017, the Barn and Farmhouse have been returned to their original rustic glory with modern amenities – each welcoming you with a warm, comfortable, modern experience while retaining their authentic rustic character and original hand-hewn timbers.
The timber framed Barn has a large, open main floor and two lofts and can host events up to 230 guests, depending on seating arrangements.
Framed by tall pines, the Writer's Shed offers an additional space for hosting fun outdoor events.
The expansive lawns provide an ideal location for hosting a ceremony, cocktail reception or just relaxing and taking in the views.
For those with a historical interest, the Barn also represents a very rare glimpse into construction techniques of the early 1800's prior to the invention of power saws; in 2017 a team of local artisans, highly skilled in the craft of timber framing and historic restoration, was assembled. Early building techniques required the hand-hewing of large beams that were cut from trees that grew on-site. In the restoration project, some trees from the estate were felled and with the help of an on-site sawmill, they were used to replace some deteriorating members. Very few barns of this age and type still exist in the U.S. Although, the Barn and Farmhouse have been restored to their original rustic glory, they welcome you with modern amenities.
The Barn's large built-in bar has the option of two serving areas accommodating guests both inside and outside
